Yes! Our custom buildings are sold as a complete kit. The building shell kits we sell come complete with all materials and hardware—down to every nut and bolt needed to erect the main structure; we even supply anchor bolts! The roof and wall siding as well as window and door trim are also included. Floor plans for our kits are not supplied because every building is custom designed and engineered and will incur a separate fee.
Although our building kits are designed for do-it-yourself assembly, you may choose to hire a local licensed contractor to erect your building. If you assemble it, we offer construction videos, a construction package specific to your building, instruction manuals and the engineering plans to build it.

If APEX provides you a custom quote, we will honor that quote 180 days from the date we provide it. With that being said, we encourage you to lock in your price sooner rather than later. Steel is a commodity and it’s cost is highly volatile, availability fluctuates and so do shipping prices.
We do not advertise pricing information because all of our buildings and homes are custom built and designed with selections specific to the customer and location it is being built. Also, steel is not priced by the square footage, it is priced by the weight. The weight is determined by your area’s wind loads and building code.
APEX is a material supplier, however, we have in network concrete contractors that we can refer you to.
Yes, the price we quote you is for the whole package. This includes design, fabrication, and shipping for your building kit. Freight is calculated based on the distance from our manufacturing plant to your jobsite.
We are not able to give out floor plans because they are custom homes. We charge a $500 deposit to begin drafting your custom floor plan, this includes (3) revisions and consultations with our on staff architect.
We at APEX believe that it is very important for our customers to comply with local, state and national regulations. Proper permitting ensures that buildings comply with codes and regulations. And this is the best way to ensure that your building is protected against excessive wear and natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornados. We understand that obtaining a permit for your building is a hassle and it may even slow down the construction process. To alleviate some of the stress, we have a team of dedicated project managers to assist you in the permitting process.
If you have any questions about permitting, please feel free to contact our call center at (800) 231-0026 and schedule a phone consultation with our project management team. You can also send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are first and foremost material suppliers, however, we have partnered with a General Contractor to meet the needs of customers requiring a General Contractor for their project. Our objective is to broker the relationship with the contractor and subcontractors so that you do not have to search for them.
